Rise Against Hunger

Amasi Decor was founded on the dedication of creating traditions and providing for others. This same drive is what compels us to take action in order to create a more better tomorrow for others. We recognize that while we are fortunate enough to decorate for the holidays and enjoy with our loved ones - others are less fortunate. 

With this, Amasi Decor decided to partner with 501(c)(3) non-profit organization - Rise Against Hunger, because their dedication to the fight against hunger aligns directly with our Ramadan faith-based practices.

 

 

We love the idea of shopping with a purpose and are donating a portion of every sale to Rise Against Hunger and encourage our customers to donate more if they would like. We specifically chose this charity because we believe that hunger is a universal issue that touches all parts of the world. Way too many people die of hunger every day and we, here at Amasi, want to make sure we do our part in helping to end world hunger.

 

Eco-Friendly 

At Amasi, we also want to make sure that we do our part and aim to be as environmentally conscious as possible. That is why the majority of our packaging is either recyclable or made from recycled material. Our products are designed with the aim for them to be recyclable and/or reusable. We are also working to get to a place where all our packaging is either eco-friendly or made from eco-friendly material such as plant-based plastic.

Some products that can be reused include, but are not limited to, our acrylic dessert toppers, Palm Tree Center Piece Tray and 'Health and Happiness' Arabic Calligraphy Coasters, our festive fishtail banners, Ramadan/Eid cookie cutter sets, Ramadan 'Wake Me Up' Door Hangers and our Geometric String Lights. 

 

 

Community Giving

Community is a huge part of who we are and as young Muslim mothers, we know the importance of giving back to the places we live and love. We strive to do this by offering discounted pricing to libraries and schools across the country and providing donations at fundraising events for nonprofit organizations, masjids, and more.
